Role: 2013 FSC Boys Coach
Flagstaff Soccer Club since: 2020
I grew up playing every sport I could possibly do and excelled at pretty much all of them. I was a football and basketball player during my high school days with soccer being my favorite sport to watch and play when I wasn't on the turf or hard wood floor. I played 3 years of club soccer in early 2000's and played semi pro football during 2004-2007 before it was cut short due to a serious knee injury.
My coaching experience includes 8 years of basketball, football and baseball. I started coaching soccer when my son was 3 (now 8) and have coached every season year-round since then. My love for Coaching is not about winning but watching the younger generation grow and gain confidence all while having fun under my wings .. I've been called the "Super Coach" of youth sports due to parents requesting to have me coach their son/daughters. This will be my 2nd Season as Head Coach for United, 3rd year overall with my 1st year being an assistant to Chris Barquin where I acted as a sponge and soaked up all his knowledge for the game.. Looking Forward to another Successful Season. Go Team United!!
