Financial Obligation
As the parent/legal guardian of a player and as a member of the Flagstaff Soccer Club, I/we agree to the financial obligations and responsibilities described below.
1.       As the parent/guardian of a player, I/we acknowledge our obligation to pay our assessed fees in full and on time as invoiced by the team and/or Club. If fees become significantly in arrears so as to compromise the finances of the team, and if attempts to collect have been unsuccessful, the team treasurer of said team is obligated to notify the Club Treasurer. The Club Treasurer will then notify the Director of Coaching who will pull that player’s pass until such time as amounts have been paid. The affected player will not be allowed to participate in practices, games, events or other Club activities until amounts have been paid.
2.      If a player elects to leave a team for any reason at any point in time during the season, there will be no refund of the training fees or team fees paid, and there will be no waiver or forgiveness of any outstanding or future financial obligation due to the Club or team. Once a player has registered and been placed on a FSC team, there will be no refund of registration fees. A player may not leave the Club to join another soccer club until all outstanding financial obligations to the FSC have been paid in full.
3.      If a player is dismissed from a team for disciplinary reasons, there will be no refund of the training or team fees paid, and there will be no waiver or forgiveness of any outstanding financial obligations due to the team or Club.
4.      If a parent/guardian fails to fulfill the financial obligations set forth herein, the club reserves the right to pull that player’s pass, and that player will be placed in bad standing with the appropriate governing bodies until such time that the financial obligation is satisfied. During this time, the affected player will not be allowed to participate in practices, games, events or other Club activities.
5.      The Club offers scholarships to cover most of the registration fees. Scholarships are not awarded for a player’s team fees. Team fees remain the obligation of the individual player. Scholarships are available on a limited basis to players meeting certain requirements. Complete details on the Club’s scholarship program are available from the Club Treasurer. A letter or email should be sent to the Club Treasurer who will, in turn, present this request to the Board of Directors at one of the monthly meetings. The Club Treasurer will then notify the applicant of the Club’s acceptance or rejection of the scholarship. Contact information is available on the FSC website at www.flagstaffsoccerclub.com
